Herc Rentals Joins the Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business

Herc Rentals recently joined the Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business (CCAB).

The CCAB’s mission is to build bridges between aboriginal and non-aboriginal peoples, businesses, and communities through diverse programming, providing tools, training, network building, major business awards, and national events.

As one of Canada’s fastest growing business segments, the nation’s indigenous people have become increasingly urbanized, providing companies like Herc Rentals with opportunities to grow and diversify its workforce while also reaching communities it may not have been able to before.

By partnering with the CCAB, Herc Rentals can build a positive and sustainable relationship with aboriginal business communities throughout Canada as well as demonstrate its commitment to working across cultures.

While Herc Rentals has been working with CCAB members for several years, the new partnership is expected to enhance the company’s relationship with it and the First Nations’ communities they serve. Through this partnership, Herc Rentals and its team members can demonstrate a deeper understanding of Aboriginal culture, tradition, and values while also showing a commitment to hire aboriginal people and strengthen their communities.
