Herc Rentals is honored to be selected as a 4-Star Employer in the 2025 VETS Indexes Employer Awards. This is the second consecutive year we’ve received this accolade from VETS Indexes as we work to support our military and veterans.
The U.S.-specific VETS Indexes Employer Awards recognize our company’s dedication to recruiting, hiring, retaining, developing, and supporting veterans and the military-connected community.
Nearly 350 organizations — a record-breaking number of applicants — participated in the VETS Indexes Employer Awards. Herc Rentals stood out among the honorees across different levels. These awards highlight organizations that exhibit a strong commitment to veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses.

The VETS Indexes Employer Awards evaluate organizations based on a comprehensive survey covering approximately 300 metrics related to veteran-related policies and practices. Herc Rentals’ recognition as a 4-Star Employer reflects our ongoing dedication to hiring veterans and facilitating their long-term career growth by leveraging the diverse skill sets acquired through military service.
